A great little drop net with a spring clip in the bottom for retaining the bait, a weight at the bottom and approximately 10m of cord.  An ideal net for use from a pier or harbour wall and without the worry (if used by children) of any hooks!  The net is just under 12"/30cm diameter at the top end and tapers down to the end that contains the bait holder. The net is approximately 10" (25cm) deep. You could also use this in freshwater for American signal crayfish.

Approximately 20" (50cm) drop net complete with a long length of nice bright orange or bright yellow cord!  With a little imagination you could probably use this to catch crabs or crayfish too.

These are, in our opinion, probably the best type of this sprung steel 'pop-up' trap that you can buy.  We have tried others and they don't compare to these.  These offer both a zipper bait pouch and a long zipper for catch-release on the under side.  We have bought ones ourselves (cheaper) that do not offer the catch-release zipper and believe us, it is no fun trying to empty crabs from a trap without one!!  These also include an approximately 8' length of nylon cord.  Overall length is approximately 2', diameter approximately 13" and mesh size is approximately ½" / 13mm in diameter.  Collapses down to less than 2" flat (easy storage).
